Now that you have your hot tub, your little piece of heaven on earth, how do you make it better? By buying accessories that will complement and enhance your tub even more!
If your tub is located on an uncovered area in the backyard, get a hot tub parasol or side umbrella. Not only will it cover you from the blistering UV rays of the sun (or the moon), it will also keep falling leaves out of your tub. Get some spa lights as well. Aside from providing illumination, a spa light is a great way to create a soothing ambience. You can also get underwater or floating LED lights for added colour effects. Just don’t go overboard, unless you’re going for the New Year at Ibizafeel. To further heighten the mood, get a neutral fragrance (tropical and flower scents are sure-fire winners) and place a few drops in the water.
Remember to get a foldable cover for the tub as you don’t want to start every hydrotherapy session by getting rid of bugs and leaves. This will also prevent airborne dusts from getting in the water. It’s a good idea to drop a scum ball or two inside the tub. Scum balls are able to absorb dirt, dead skin cells, oils and body lotions from the tub. Rinse them after every session to maintain the water quality inside your tub.
Get a snack or drinks tray that can be attached or hung to the edge of your tub. Although you are submerged in the water, the warm water can make your thirsty fairly quickly. Alternatively, you can choose a floating drinks trayfor more flexibility. A chemical and waterproof pillow is a great idea if you spend a lot of time in the tub. Even tubs with head cradles will work better with a spa pillow.
Do you like music for relaxation? Get a Bluetooth speaker and connect it to your phone. You can now unwind under the gentle jazzy caress of Kenny G. Be creative. Think about how your time at the tub can be made still more enjoyable. The options are almost limitless.
